Curug Masigit; An Undiscovered and Unique Place.

                    Subang has a lot of tourist destinations, it also has many natural beautiful landscape for recreation. There are so many destinations such as waterfalls and beaches.

Masigit waterfall located in Pasanggrahan, Kasomalang Subang. Before that, have you ever heard and visit Masigit waterfall? Masigit waterfall is one of the tourist destination in Subang but it is still not very famous. So we want to make Masigit waterfall become one of the famous tourist destination in Subang.

Refers to our schedule, our group go to Masigit waterfall at Tuesday. We start from our campus STKIP Subang at 10.30. Because we didn’t know the exactly location of Masigit waterfall, we  take a long time to arrive in there. Because of that, we arrive at Pasanggrahan the location of Masigit waterfall around 13:00 pm. It can be reached within 20 minutes or only 8,1 km from Jalan Cagak to Kasomalang. From Subang town is 56,1 Kilo Meters or 2,5 hours with the route Jl. Subang – Pamanukan. From Bandung only within 53,6 Kilo Meters or 2,23 hours from Jakarta and within 152,6 Kilo Meters or 3,10 hours with route Jl. Pantura or Jl. Tol Jakarta - Cikampek, while with the accessibility that can be traversed by the various types of vehicles  but it will be easier if you use motorcycle because there is not parking area.

When we arrived in the village, we fortunally met the local people who want to guide us to get there,There is not any facilities because Masigit waterfall still unfamous tourist destination. We can said that masigit waterfall still virgin, which mean it’s still nature.

The track to Masigit waterfall is compatible with people who like adventure because there is so many obstacles. You have to pass the rice fields and then you have to go down to reach the waterfall. For your information the track to Masigit waterfall should be pass the rocks of foot path steeply like hiking the moutain. Also the foot path is slippery enough to make you fall if you didn’t carefull or you must hold tightly into the grass around you to make sure you wouldn’t fall because the track little bit dangerous, especially in the rainy season.

In the Masigit waterfall you can see a lot of big stone on the side or in the middle of the river. The water of the river is cold and clear as well, up there you can also swim at the water but the place is out of nowhere is difficult to get there is a challanging track for adventure lover, the view when we werewalking to get the place you can see the mountains and also rice field.
